a new year's eve has never meant a lot to me.
last year I watched Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire while people were doing the countdown.
this year I decided to watch Spiderman 3 because I'm in love with Harry Osborn gahahahahahaha

I don't think I have to do anything different for new year's eve. Going to somewhere else where everybody are doing the celebration is not my choice. I'm not against them, but I think there is something more important about new year, and it's not only about the change of the year, the celebration of it, the new resolution...

no. New year means we have again passed another past year, we are getting closer to an end

it's scientifically proven that this universe does not last for ever

New year means I have left a year-chance to be a better person and I will face another chance to be one.

So, when the new year's eve means nothing personal to me, then a new year means a lot for me. Another chance to change...

as I've promised, I'll share about my favorite thing... this one is a movie based from a book. I've read the book (if I'm not mistaken) after I watched the movie for the first time and until now, this is still one of my favorite movie ever.

I'm not watching movie as much as I read books but I really like this one. I have watched this maybe for 5 times and never get bored. I love every part of the chocolate factory it's amazing! Later on, I realize that Tim Burton was taking part in the movie. no wonder the movie is soooo WONDERFUL :)

hmm.. sebenernya hari ini gue nggak libur. harus ke kampus. kan pameran hari terakhir. Yes, I supposed to leave the house at 8.15, but I want to have an escape.

last night I was writing on my diary and found out that I already solve my problem just before I fall asleep. alhamdulillaaaaaah =D

I want to share about another favorite things of mine. I love rain. I know, everybody loves rain. Suka bau rumput/tanah pas lagi hujan, suka suasana mendungnya, suka semuanya. Banyaaaak banget orang yang suka hujan. Malah gue udah nemu DUA novel yang isinya tentang orang yang suka hujan.

Hujan bikin gue terlalu melankolis sebenernya. But I like it. The cold feeling, the drops of water out of nowhere, the gray sky. Kadang-kadang gue ngeliatin aja hujannya. Bagus juga kalo hujan gue nggak usah kemana-mana. Berarti gue bisa menikmati me-time di rumah.

Hujan juga bikin tidur pulas kan kawan-kawan. That's another reason ^^

I always want to build my own home with a balcony where I can spend time watching the rain while drinking a big cup of hot chocolate or chocolate milk and listening to my favorite songs from my iPod. Thank God You brought me here to an architecture department!

kemaren abis posting kan gue nulis buku harian sambil dengerin iPod (my favorite thing to do before sleep ^^. cobain deh. enak sekali rasanyaaaa) terus walaupun sudah di shuffle si lagunya sangat membangun suasana sekali. menyebalkaaaan

hmm terus baca-baca buku harian juga. ini bukan kemaren malem sih. biasanya abis nulis gue akan baca tulisan-tulisan gue yang lama. kadang-kadang buku harian gue yang lama juga. suka lucu sendiri kalo liat apa yang udah gue tulis. hihihi. kadang-kadang gue rajin banget nyalinin sms gue sama temen gila gue yang satu fakultas tapi beda jurusan. soalnya sms kami suka aneh-aneh isinya. misalnya, saling ngancem :

fitri : ih sumpah ya, pgn gw lempar pake glue gun lo?
ina : lempar aja. gw bales pake power glue ke mata lo.
fitri : apaan sih lo ngancem2gw kya anak kecil

ina : sekarang gw maen the sims. geblek bgt ya

hmm ga penting banget ya. tapi menyenangkan loh. dan bikin otak refresh. yaiyalah. kalo gue udah mumet mikirin tugas kuliah yang banyak dan kayanya ga selesai-selesai tiba-tiba ina sms gue jadi gue harus mikir balesan yang sama ngeyel dan anehnya dengan isi sms dari dia.

gw juga pernah copas chatting gue sama orang ke buku harian. hmm kalo yang ini mendingan ga usah diceritain. hihihi. tapi bener yaa baca-baca chat history itu suka lucu loh. kadang-kadang lo ketawa lagi atau mungkin semangat lagi. kayak waktu gue baca chat gue dan fulki (yang udah gue copas juga disini) tapi bisa juga sedih lagi sih. tergantung chatnya sama siapa.

buku harian gue sekarang ada sembilan. gue mulai nulis sejak kelas 1 SMA, soalnya waktu itu kan gue SMA di Bandung. I've got no one to share jadi yaa sudahlah gue nulis buku harian aja deh. eh keterusan sampe sekarang. banyak banget orang yang bilang nulis buku harian udah ngga jaman. kebanyakan sih yang penasaran sama isinya. padahal gue orangnya bocor banget dah semuanya gue ceritain. kayak nggak ada gunanya juga nulis di buku lagi. ada juga yang nanya buku harian lo udah 9 isinya apa aja?

iya sih kayanya udah nggak jaman nulis buku harian. tapi buat gue, writing on my diary is just another way to escape from the world. kalo lagi pengen sendirian, kalo lagi pengen ngasihtau apa yang sebenernya ada di hati gue, I prefer to write it down. Makanya setelah dibaca lagi buku harian gue kok isinya... sampah banget ya? hehehe.. banyak banget hal yang kadang nggak penting tapi memorable buat gue. things you'll easily forget padahal sebenanya lo akan sangat kangen dengan masa-masa itu. that's why i write things in details.

I was reading one of my favorite blog by one of my junior high school friend. She posted some videos from Grey's Anatomy (my mother's favorite TV show. the one that made her had ever asked me to go to the faculty of medicine, ok this is out of topic). And the scenes were a bit heart-rending.

I hate the feeling when I feel like I have done a thing but the truth is I haven't.

basically, gue emang selalu seneng kalo ada acara begini. capek sih, tapi kalo orang sampe seneng banget pas acaranya berlangsung capenya tuh langsung ilang deeh ^^. another reasong : being busy makes me forget about anything I'd like to forget for a while (except when the only thing you want to forget always be around you. it's another case)

too bad I can't share any pictures here. I forgot to bring my camera this morning. Maybe I will post some pictures from the exhibition on my upcoming post.

i hate myself for being over sensitive.. hmm ga ngerti cuman gue doang atau semua orang juga kadang-kadang merasa seperti gue sekarang. pernah nggak sih ngerasa kalo elo melakukan hal yang benar untuk diri lo sendiri, tapi terus lo nyesel karena mikir itu egois, hal yang lo lakuin itu mungkin banget nyakitin orang lain.

lebih sebel lagi sama diri lo sendiri karena elo menyesali hal yang benar yang udah lo lakuin. oke, sounds complicated, maybe I'm not good in words order but that's the point.

gue sedang merasa seperti itu belakangan ini. I feel so curious about something, but I don't think it is a good thing to find out about it. I end up hurting myself, I know. Tapi emang bener ya, doing good deeds is much more dofficult than to think about it. Gue bisa aja tahu apa yang harusnya gue lakukan tapi gue malah melanggar hal-hal yang udah gue ketahui itu.

Lebih parah lagi kalo gue melakukan hal yang benar, tapi gue nyesel karena gue malah ngelakuin hal yang benar itu. It makes me sick of myself. Gue akan sejuta kali lebih kesel sama diri gue sendiri, karena menyesali hal yang benar yang sudah gue lakukan, ya, yang udah gue sebutin sebelumnya.

Kadang-kadang gue merasa lebih baik menjadi orang yang ignorant sekalian daripada over sensitive. Things you don't know won't hurt you, right? In my case, things I don't know don't hurt me as well, but things that I know hurts me more. Semuanya aja dimasukkin ke hati. Ada yang nggak negor sedikit langsung ngerasa orangnya lagi sebel sama gue. Ada orang yang lagi bad mood juga langsung mikir kalo marahnya itu PASTI karena gue. PASTI ada hal yang udah gue lakuin yang nyakitin hati orang lain.

Gue bukan orang yang terlalu straight-forward kalo menyangkut masalah seperti ini. Yes, another things to regret. I tend to keep all in my heart. Masalahnya kalo udah kebanyakan rasanya gue pengen meledak. Yes it hurts. I know it hurts, but I keep on doing it.

Stupid? Yes. I do A LOT of stupid things anyway, satu tindakan stupid lainnya harusnya nggak bikin gue menderita.

harusnya. Tapi balik lagi, karena gue adalah orang yang over-sensitive, pada akhirnya gue akan merasa jadi orang yang paling menderita sedunia. Lalu gue akan menyalahkan orang-orang. Then I'm blaming myself for blaming other person for the misery.

most of the times, it is easier to take everything as a compliment. in short, it is easier to take things easily... make things seem to be so fun. even though it doesn't seem to be worked every time i try to do it.

for example, my friend has once said to me : "Fit, gue seneng deh punya temen kayak lo. outlinenya bego tapi dalemnya pinter,"


well, I take that as a compliment. =D


as I said, taking things as a compliment is easier. Daripada ngeluh-ngeluh nggak jelas (as I usually done), mengambil sisi positif dari sesuatu, yang kedengarannya jelek sekalipun bisa jadi banyak hikmahnya. Dan yang jelas, bikin senyum jadi lebih mudah.

Kalo mau kuliah, bunda suka bilang : "Kakak, jangan cemberut, doong.."

biasanya gue suka menganggap itu angin lalu. Kadang gue merasa gue nggak cemberut, cuman bunda aja yang menganggapnya seperti itu. But when I take time to think, to take the positive part of her statement, it is not only about a smile on my face. It also about how I face things around me.

Cemberut dan judging things as negative itu dekat sekali. Bunda bukan cuman mau bikin gue tersenyum, tapi juga berpikiran positif terhadap segala sesuatu yang akan gue hadapi saat kuliah hari itu.

So, why don't you take people's statement as a compliment?

anywaaaaay... gue kangen banget nih nonton dorama kayak waktu gue liburan sebelum kuliah. gue juga kangen banget merasa optimis akan nilai-nilai gue ke depan, sekangen nonton dorama. Kadang-kadang orang melihat gue kayak meremehkan atau menggampangkan sesuatu dengan bersikap tenang, terutama soal UTS yang bakalan dimulai hari Senin depan. Tapi sejujurnya gue merasa panik berlebihan nggak akan membantu gue ngerti apapun.

ketika orang-orang melihat gue tenang-tenang aja, mereka akan bilang :"Iya dooong fitri kan pinter," atau "Ya lo kan pinter Fit,"

padahal gue nggak merasa begitu sama sekali, jadilah gue merasa mungkin gue kelihatan over PD di depan temen-temen gue sendiri. Gue sama sekali nggak mau diliat sebagai orang yang sok pinter apalagi ngegampangin mata kuliah. Spesifiknya, gue nggak mau diliat sebagai orang yang sok bisa banget kalkulus, matkul yang bakalan ada UTSnya hari senen ntar tapi gue juga nggak pengen panik berlebihan. apa-apaan deeeh. kayak gue bakal jadi pinter aja kalo gue panik.

Karena gue nggak mau orang menjudge gue pinter (oh well, by writing that words now I feel like I REALLY want people to see me that smart...) padahal gue nggak merasa begitu, gue jadi merasa effort gue kurang dalam melakukan sesuatu. Gue jadi merasa bahwa gue keliatan sombong dengan bersikap tenang-tenang saja seperti itu, dan gue juga merasa bahwa mungkin gue nggak akan berhasil dalam ujian gue nantinya. Perasaan yakin gue hilang pelan-pelan sementara the power of suggestions are filling my head.

then, I arrived at one conclusion

that stupid things also happened when you are too busy trusting people's words, not your own heart.

yang harus gue lakukan adalah menjadi diri gue sendiri dan nyaman dengan segala sikap dan keputusan gue itu.

before today i was not in a good state of mood

just like before, i had my moodswing attack.

and this time it happens only because i accidentally seen one of new video clip on TV this afternoon. I don't know whether it was just me who was too imaginative or it really was another syndrome but I was too sensitive when I attended my last class today.

the worst part : I guess the major reason was one of my classmate on that class...

So I guess the refrain part of the song was my song for that specific person. And I just can't get that thought of my head until... well, until I start logging in my facebook yesterday

Gosh. should I be that sensitive about this problem?

This time I just know that from the first time it won't ever start. it's impossible to begin. But I still keep that on my mind.

misalnya waktu gue mau masuk SMA. I had no point of being in that school actually but now i feel most grateful about it. waktu gue ikutan TO SNMPTN, bahkan tanpa belajar, gue masih bisa puas sama hasil yang gue raih, nggak peduli maksimal atau nggak hasil itu.

same thing happened when I did my test to entered my university. I'm expecting the best.. gak ada gunanya juga terus-terusan berharap tanpa usaha maksimal dan tanpa doa juga. Dan alhamdulillah gue lolos ke pilihan yang bener-bener gue mau.

I feel like things were happened on the way I wanted to.

But now I don't feel the same.

Emang kalo gue nggak punya kemauan yang kuat dan semangat untuk menwujudkan sesuatu dan menjadikan moodswing gue alasan kalo gue gak serius dan gak niat gue nggak akan bisa jadi apa yang gue mauin.

Things had never been as they were, as I expected them to be. Somehow gue punya kemauan kuat untuk menjadikan itu kenyataan. sadar nggak sadar.

Sekarang gue merasa seperti there's no way out. I've been here and all I have to do is to continue to step on the path till the end. Tapi sebenernya bukan itu dan yang jelas nggak sesimpel itu. Yang harusnya gue lakukan adalah mencari semangat gue yang lama yang mengantarkan gue ke sini...

kemaren setelah OBM rasanya gue puas banget. seems like i was being myself for a week. but now i feel like waking up from a sleep and face the reality.. untuk gue realitanya adalah berkenalan dengan orang lagi.

gue benci berkenalan. benci berada dalam lingkungan baru dimana gue adalah si orang asing. outsider. gue nggak nyaman dengan lingkungan yang nggak bisa gue masukin, entah itu karena gue emang nggak cocok atau karena gue nggak mau nyoba untuk masuk.

kemaren liat berita di TV ada anak kecil yang tinggal di Banten sakit kanker sampe mukanya rusak tapi (seperti biasa) nggak ada bantuan untuk berobat ke dokter.

Abis berita itu ada berita tentang pameran mobil mewah yang harganya sampe 7 Milyar lebih dan penyelenggaranya optimis kalo penjualannya bakal bagus. Ada juga mobil hybrid yang harganya 500 juta-an dan mau diajuin subsidi pajak supaya harganya bisa lebih murah, katanya kalo harga mobil hybrid itu lebih murah, subsidi buat bbm juga bisa dikurangi.

Oh iya, kemaren juga nonton TV trus liat acara Doctor*ology di Metro TV ngomongin soal ahli anestesi. Sorenya liat acara ilmu pengetahuan keluaran luar lagi di TV (gatau channelnya) yang ngomongin soal darah dan jantung. Acara selanjutnya ngomongin soal perkembangan teleskop di Eropa.

Kalo acara dalam negeri, jam segitu adalah sinetron yang isinya penyiksaan. Maleman dikit masih sinetron juga.

Ya ampun, pantesan aja stupid.

so... actually, there is no relation between honeymoon and clovers. i'm just going to review some things i've watched and read recently :

1. Honeymoon with My Brother by Franz Wisner

A book about a journey of a man and his brother after being ditched by his fiancee five days before the wedding.

i can't say much about the book, it is interesting actually, but not a real page turner. the journey was quite fun and detail. most of the contents of the book told the reader about how the man had tried and finally forget his ex-fiancee and learn things from his journey with his brother.

2. Hachimitsu to Clover

this is the dorama i've mention in this post. i LOVE the story but a bit disappoint about the end..

so, there were five college student :
Hanamoto Hagumi, a talented painter who came from the countryside
Takemoto Yuuta, the third year student majoring in architecture
Yamada Ayumi, a talented student in pottery making
Mayama Takumi, an architecture student
Morita Shinobu, a talented seventh year student majoring in sculpture

they were best friends who like to hanging around in Hanamoto Sensei's place, the uncle of Hagumi. the dorama mostly told the story about their life, their love life, their problems and how they finally find the way to solve it.

my favorite character is Yamada Ayumi played by Narumi Riko.

3. Movies!

i also watched movies on TV lately, which surprisingly, not my favorite genre. here sre the titles and my quick review :


- COLLATERAL DAMAGE : about a man who try to find the colombia terrorist who had killed his wife and son.
my opinion : well, i don't watch the whole movie actually but i can say that it was interesting

- POSEIDON : about some people in a drowning ship who try to find their way out.
my opinion : thrilling and good. a bit like titanic without the love story inside it.

- BIG FAT LIAR : have i told you about this one? this is one of Frankie Muniz's movie. a story about a boy who always tell lies so that nobody trust him anymore. finally he got into one big trouble because somebody is lying about him.
my opinion : great story and great scenes too. the movie takes place in Universal Studio so it was great!

4. Dorama

I heart DORAMA!!! (as i always say)
i'm curently watching Hana Yori Dango, so far i've watched 5 episodes out of 9. it was good, and i think this one is better than the taiwan and korean version.
I'm going to watch Futatsu no Spica too (another Mukai Osamu's dorama =D) but the buffering process takes so long.. i'll watch it later anyway

i've watched this movie :


the story was... quite different from the book, but that was fine. the difference didn't make any difference to the goal of the story though (i have noticed one important point for the seventh book i didn't notice before =D) but still, i prefer the book version since the movie seems to be a bit too romantic and comedic.

Harry's appearance was just like how he always been. But he looked a bit too short for a sixth grade student, i mean, even Ginny was a bit taller than him!
i love Fred and George Weasley but they didn't appear so much. anyway, their joke shop was great.
Tom Felton, as Draco Malfoy was sooo... cool. He only wears suit or clothes in black, which match his pale skin and white hair so nicely. he didn't talk a lot, but his acting was showing his feeling a lot, just like i thought he would feel when he had chosen as one of the servant for the Dark Lord, after all, along the previous movie, he had been a coward person.
Hermione and Ron was good. I can't say too much things about them, but i should say that i didn't like Lavender. I hate her way calling Ron as Won-Won.
Ginny was the best EVER! she had been so tall and so beautiful, and she had been so kind to Harry as well. I fancy her... a lot!


the last part, when Dumbledore and Harry went to the cave to find the third horcrux (which had been stolen anyway), was a GREAT PART. it was sooo thrilling to see the body appeared from under the water. and Dumbledore was GREAT when he finally made a HUGE FIRE to dismissed the body.

One thing i regret is that i HAVE read the seventh book, so i had already knew the end of the story, i couldn't hate Snape for killing Dumbledore... Gosh! I can't wait for the seventh movie!

this was a worth watching movie, and i hope the seventh (both of the part) too! and i hope the seventh won't be too far from the original movie since J.K. Rowling had made such a BRILLIANT story i must say. The seventh is the best ever!!

atashinchi no danshi is over.

feel sad about that but feel happy about the end of the story, finally... =D
anyway, after watching the last episode of Atashinchi no Danshi, i was thinking about another drama. my friends told me several times about Nobuta wo Produce (Horikita Maki had a role on the drama), i also being told about Nodame Cantabile, Bambino, and Hachimitsu to Clover (since Mukai Osamu had a role there!).

So now i am watching Hachimitsu to Clover. So far, i've reached the third episode and going to watch the fourth.


looking forward for Harry Potter sixth movie, keep on watching!

yes.. akhirnya gue balik lagi ke bioskop.
seriously, seperti yang pernah gue bilang di postingan sebelumnya, i'm not really into movies on theater, hari ini juga tadinya gue udah nggak mau ikut karena gue males keluar rumah.
iya emang, di saat semua orang dying ingin liburan keluar, gue malah menghindari keluar rumah. gue bukan orang yang seneng keluar, pengennya di rumaaahhh aja, leha-leha sambil baca buku atau nonton atau tidur. Sounds boring? Well, it's actually not that bad, daripada ngabisin uang nggak keruan kan mendingan di rumah aja..

nah ternyata acara nonton film ini adalah acara keluarga, jadi sebenernya gue nggak rugi-rugi amat kalo ikut, kan dibayarin (hehe..) tapi tetep aja, sesiangan, setelah gue mandi sekitar jam 11, gue tidur siang, berharap gue nggak usah ikut.

tapi akhirnya toh gue pergi juga. dan menikmati juga acara jalan-jalannya, terutama karena kita makan pizza. yeeeah! i LOVE pizza sooo much. pokoknya Pizza Hut itu oke selamanya..!

setelah makan, baru deh kita nonton King di bioskop. nah, itulah intinya. I'm going to review the movie now...

so, I've watched one of Kick Andy's Episode about this movie. I feel like oh, wow, here's another different kind of movie. Maksudnya selama ini kan bioskop biasanya kalo nggak film horror ya film drama-romantis. okelah, kadang-kadang ada film misteri-misterian, tapi ntar ada bunuh-bunuhan atau tembak-tembakannya, AAARGGGHH! Pokoknya bioskop itu bukan pilihan deeeh!

anyway, back to my review.

actually, the idea of the movie is great. Tentang perjuangan seseorang yang suka bulu tangkis tapi kayaknya dapet tekanan dari mana-mana dan jadinya nggak berharap bisa kemana-mana. Gue suka sama tokoh Raden yang kayaknya baiiiikkk... banget sama Guntur. Pokoknya friendship is above everything! Gue juga suka sama Guntur yang walaupun awalnya agak cengeng dan ambekan akhirnya bisa dapet pelajaran dari didikan keras bapaknya. He should be proud for having such a great father.

Akting pemainnya menurut gue... oke.

Tapi tetep aja ada beberapa hal yang menurut gue agak nggak essensial di film itu. Yang pertama adalah keluarganya Michelle. Pas di Kick Andy (if I'm not mistakenly remember) kalo nggak salah keluarganya Michelle itu pindah ke kampung Guntur karena ibunya punya masalah dan berniat untuk nenangin diri di sana, tapi menurut gue, latar belakang cerita itu nggak disampaikan di film. Dan masih dari Kick Andy, harusnya ibu Michelle sempet nggak suka sama Michelle yang main bareng Guntur dan Raden, tapi nggak ada juga tuh di filmnya, atau kalaupun ada, gue nggak ngerasa gambar dan skripnya cukup mendukung untuk bagian itu.

soal tokoh-tokoh lainnya... well, they're enough to describe about one small village that still hold the feeling of solidarity, not an individuality.

Tapi pesen dari film ini cukup oke menurut gue. Mudah-mudahan aja anak-anak di Pelatnas yang nonton film ini bakalan dapet suntikan semangat yang cukup untuk mengharumkan nama Indonesia lagi di dunia bulu tangkis.

Okelah, gue memang nggak senasionalis itu, gue bahkan nggak nasionalis sama sekali (I hate indonesia, most of the time..) tapi melihat they're back to the track should be great. I refer they to the athletes.

so, King's a worth watching!

beberapa hari sebelum hari pertama beneran ada kegiatan di Universitas Indonesia yang gue lakukan adalah pergi ke Book Fair di Istora Senayan bersama teman, membaca buku dan menonton beberapa film yang ditayangin di televisi..

1. Book Fair di Istora

sebenernya pergi ke book fairnya agak-agak sotoy abisan kan rencananya mau naik bus transjakarta dari jati padang, tapi ternyata penuhh abiss, jadi akhirnya naik bus beneran ke blok M, beli minum trus dengan sotoy naik bus AC ke istora.. ongkosnya 5ribu masa, padahal naeknya juga cuma sebentarr!
tapi akhirnya gue dan temen gue sampe dengan selamat di istora, trus abis itu kita langsung hunting buku deeehhh.. dan inilah hasil hunting gue :


ive read the book, it's kinda of ok, eventhough it's not a page-turner.. i mean, i spend almost two whole days to complete reading the book.. padahal genrenya kan fantasi, one of my favorite genre!
so, the first book is a story about peterpan. The reason why peterpan lives in Never Land, why he didn't getting older, why he can fly and why captain hook loses his left arm.. it's such a nice story though...

i havent even start to read the second book but i think it would be a fun-reading, i HOPE so!

oh yea.. im starting to make a reading journal too, it's kinda interesting activity to write down your thought about a book you'd read in a journal and recommend it to your friend, im about to start it!

2. menonton film

belakangan ini gue jarang nonton film sampe tengah malem seperti yang beberapa minggu lalu gue lakukan, kemaren sih gue nonton setengah film The Pacifier, seluruh film Cheaper by the Dozen 1 dan 2 (and met Taylor Lautner =D), and a bit part of Shrek (this morning).. jangankan nonton film di tv, nonton Grey's anatomy yang ada DVD nya di gue aja malesnya minta ampunn, gue juga belom nyelesein nonton Coffee Prince.. well, i guess i will finish watching the movie before the end of my holiday

akhirnya SMA gue selesai. Kemarin gue ke Bandung buat pelepasan dan bagi rapor + ijasah, i know its kinda late since most of my friends' schools had held the graduation ceremony, but the different situation made it's all different for me.

i love being in my school... di sekolah gue cuma ada dua kelas untuk tiap angkatan, kelas IPA dan IPS. otomatis sebenernya waktu kelas satu kita semua sekelas, dan teman-teman yang cuma dua puluh enam itu juga satu angkatan. I know it was a real small number, but i prefer it that way. kalo nggak begitu, belum tentu gue bisa mengalami kejadian yang begitu menyenangkan in these past three years.

and since it was a small number, it's just nonsense to held a prom or whatever-it-got-its-name. kita cukup bikin sleepover party aja, yang nggak kejadian sih sebenernya. kita gak nyewa gedung apapun untuk acara perpisahan, perpisahannya malah cuma di ruangan AudioVisual. Ada MC, susunan acara, sambutan, penyerahan ijazah... just like what others did, in sort of simple-but-special way. Semua dekornya malah dibuat sama adik-adik kelas kita yang jumlahnya nggak beda jauhlah per angkatannya, dan itulah yang bikin rasa kekeluargaannya kerasa banget.

i love all of my high school friends sooooooo much!!!

ive been through my junior high school years in a public school and i knew how it feel to be, well, a-person-for-a-world.. i'd prefer my high school compare to my junior high school years, but still, high school is once-in-a-lifetime experience you may not forget... bagaimanapun kalian ngalaminnya!

last night i stayed awake until 1 a.m after watching 2 great movies, Pocahontas and Princess Diaries 2 : The Royal Engagement. I love both of the movies. I Highly Recommend the movies!


Pocahontas is a movie about an Indian girl who met an English man. The English were actually going to take over the land of the Indian so they practically become an enemy, but on the contrary, they fall to each other. Besides the movie, I also heart the songs. Well, basically I am into any musical drama, so I really enjoy the songs and also the pictures.
Unfortunately, the credit title was being cut so there's no If I Never Knew You song being performed. The song is sooo... nice, I love it!

Princess Diaries 2 : The Royal Engagement is a story based on the characters by Meg Cabot. Yes, the first movie of Princess Diaries based on a book by Meg Cabot; The Princess Diaries, one of my favorite book.

Anyway, the movie is about Mia Thermopolis who is a princess of a small country called Genovia. She is the only princess in the country and ready to be a queen to take over her Grandmother role, but there is somebody who wants to take the throne for her. It's a chick-flick anyway, so at least Mia, who already had a husband-to-be, fall into Lord Deveraux whose uncle wants to take the throne for her.
I love the soundtrack : Breakaway from Kelly Clarkson and A Love that will Last from Renee Olstead. The actress and actors were good. I like Anna Hathaway (as Princess Mia), Julie Andrews (as Grandmother), and also Chris Pine (as Lord Deveraux), they were good. One strange thing is that the WHOLE movie using English while Genovia is a country that used French language (if im not mistaken)


Oh, and Julie Andrews also appeared in one timeless musical drama : The Sound of Music. It's also a worth-to-watch movie!

Both of the movie shows that Disney's TIMELESS! I LOVE DISNEY!!

anyway, Cheaper by the Dozen is on tv tonight. Keep on watching!!

it's been a long time since i watch movies, yang terakhir adalah angels and demons, biasanya gue nggak suka nonton di bioskop karena sayang uangnya kalau ternyata filmnya horror atau nggak memuaskan, mendingan nonton di TV, kan sekarang tiap hari selalu ada film di TV. Cuma karena emang gue bukan orang yang biasa tidur malem (kecuali untuk nonton BBF :p) usually i only watch a part of the movie, especially for those that start from 9 p.m. so, eventhough the holidays is closer to an end, i havent watched so much. here is the list :

1. The Metro Chase

it takes place in Paris. Tells a story about a 8-years-old boy who lost in Paris and being searched by his 18 years-old sister and her friends. But accidentally, he comes to an amazing adventure about chasing pickpockets.

Filmnya.. bagus, menurut gue. Dan walaupun flashback, tapi nggak bikin bingung. But seriously, I dont think the backpacker that appeared in the movie has a point. yahh.. walaupun dia ngebantuin kakaknya nyariin si adik yang hilang itu (karena alasan lain), tapi tetep aja kayaknya kalo nggak ada dia juga filmnya bakalan sama aja.



2. Dreams Come True

about three girls that had their own dream and suddenly had it comes true in such unexpectable ways. dua dari tiga orang yang jadi tokoh utama itu malahan tertukar satu sama lain dan orang terakhir dianggap jadi satu-satunya yang bisa nuker mereka balik, padahal dia juga punya masalah sendiri.

if i have to choose one, i would like to choose FREAKY FRIDAY than this movie. The idea is quite similiar anyway. Di film ini kayaknya semuanya jadi cepet banget. Nggak ada adegan jelas yang nunjukkin kalo mereka sama-sama sadar soal keinginan masing-masing dan pokoknyaa... gitu lah. Kesimpulannya gue nggak suka film ini and too bad i cant find the poster too.

3. Lilo and Stitch 2

tells a story about stitch that becomes bad again and this changing makes his relationship with Lilo somehow broke apart.

i LOVE the movie. Disney's always timeless anyway, tapi gue bener-bener suka film ini. apalagi waktu Lilo mau ikut kontes nari hula dan gurunya bilang kalo ibunya juga dulu menang kontes itu waktu masih seumuran dia. Film ini menunjukkan bahwa true friend do exist, and even a hula dance competition is nothing compared to a friendship. I Highly Recommend this movie!

4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Another movie about Harry's adventure in Hogwarts. tentang ceritanya, yahh... semua orang juga pasti tau lahh.

Sebenernya gue nggak mau nonton film ini karena gue udah baca bukunya dan tau kalo akhirnya Cedric Diggory mati. Beneran deh, gue nggak suka film kalo ada mati-matinya, makanya pas adegan di graveyard gue ganti channelnya. Tapi sebenernya film ini lumayan oke, kok. Dan Daniel Radcliffe bukannya nggak oke rambutnya gondrong begitu, hhe.. (but still i prefer his shorter hair). Tapi daripada film, menurut gue, ya, mendingan baca bukunya soalnya lebih detail dan.. okelah, pokoknya.

5. Spiderman

Peter Parker changes from an ordinary-nerdy boy into an amazing superhero.

Gue selalu ingin nonton film ini dari awal sampai akhir tapi nggak pernah kesampean. Semalem juga gue nontonnya cuma setengah doang, tapi yaa... filmnya emang oke, sih. Makanya, mungkin lain kali gue akan berusaha untuk nonton full! And eventhough i just watch a bit of it, i highly recommend this movie.


well, that's all. Anyway, there will be Pocahontas for tonight, and Toy Story for Tuesday (if im not mistaken)

so, i've been spending almost three days to complete reading this book and now im going to review it.

Paperback Synopsis :

Reading this novel reminding me about reading Harry Potter : Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The main characters in the books, Charlie Benjamin and Harry Potter are rejected and having a secret ability without realizing at the first time. The different is that Harry Potter have something called magic and Charlie Benjamin have an imagination that can open a gate to a place called netherworld, where strange creatures live and try to rule the earth.

Even the friends of Charlie, Violet and Theodore, make me thinking about Hermione and Ron. They don't even want to be a friend at the beginning, right?

But afterall, the idea of the story is quite good. I love the idea about having nightmare to open the gate to the Netherworld, a world of bad creatures. It seems so simple and explains why people said that there are monsters under our bed. The description is... also good, eventhough i dont really like the way it translated but that's way good though.

this book is kind of ok.

finally i can go back to gramedia and discount bookstore again!

buying books, besides watching atashinchi no danshi (hehe...) is one of good thing to spend your long holiday. when i was in bandung, i often bought my books at palasari or togamas. you should have been familiar to palasari because it's one of great book market when we can get discount up to 20%. togamas is... well, a modern version of palasari i guess. the store also gives the customer 15% discount or even higher in high season.
when i got back to depok, i can't seem to find a place where i can spend my money in buying books because i LOVE discount sooo... much, and i can't stand shopping in gramedia since i know that i can get the books in lower prices in other places. for me, the smaller amount you spend for shopping the better.

and today, my friend told me to go to TM Bookstore at Depok Town Square when i asked her to accompany me to gramedia. So we browsed the books at gramedia and then go to TM Bookstore to buy the books because TM Bookstore is a DISCOUNT BOOKSTORE, just like togamas in bandung.

gotta go then, i'm in the middle of watching atashinchi no danshi!

I'm now BEING ADDICTED to atashinchi no danshi drama, well.. in my condition, as a jobless person with a 24/7 internet connection what else that you can do anyway? don't blame me for this, besides the drama is really interesting..
the story is good. that's the first point. I don't watch drama if the story doesn't suit me, that's why i don't stand watching soap opera.
the movie is funny. i love watching the expression of the cast, that's why i do watch Korean drama too, hhe.
Mukai Osamu has a role as Okura Sho. yeeeeiy! and for this reason, i urge you to start watching this drama, and anyway, this is him :

this is my first time watching japan drama, and if my friend didn't recommend this drama show to me, i think i will never watch it. thanks to her :D.

by the way, this drama-thing makes me understand about my friend obsession about japan when we were in junior high school. before this, i have never think about learning any language but English and Germany (since i was obsessed to study in that country), and now i wish i can understand japan more than i do now.

im a moody kind of person and feel bad about that.. and now i feel like i am not on my best mood, so i browse for a new song to download in 4shared (of course! i'm not an expert in download-things so i'm used to do it in the most simple way :p)

last night, i was listening to some old-school songs that was my favorite when i was on my junior high school. The songs are :

i know the songs are soo... last year for some people, or maybe kinda boring. but before listening to nowadays-band (no offense :D) I LOOOVEE these songs sooo... much.

i think sometimes we need to refresh our mind by thinking about good things that had happened in the old times. or about things that used to be our favorite,

the old times are not a things to forget anyway, let's see that in such different way!

i went to Bandung on Sunday and got back here on tuesday.. coba tebak gue ngapain aja di bandung?

pertama-tama, gue transit di cimahi. trus ditinggal ke undangan sama sepupu-sepupu gue abis itu ke pizza hut dan makan seakan-akan gue udah nggak makan dua hari. soalnya gue makan dua slice pan personal, es krim mix and fun, setengah gelas coca cola, minuman yang warnanya ijo ama satu slice american favourite yang large.. abis itu gw ke asrama trus gak makan malem, hhe..

hari kedua, gue ikut temen-temen gue ke sekolah abis itu mendengar kabar kalo pengumuman UNnya baru jam satu siang. dan karena temen-temen gue sibuk intensif di kelas buat persiapan snmptn, jadi gue menggaring sendirian sambil baca komik. lucky me, in lunch time, they came and asked me to tell them about HOT SHOT!! yeeee, asikk, akhirnya gue bisa cerita jugaa!

tapi ternyata temen gue ada yang suka banget sama tokoh Yuan Da Ying yang lebaaaayyy abis di drama itu. trus pas temen-temen gue lagi serius-seriusnya ngedengerin ceritanya Dong Fang Xiang sama Zhan Jie Er, dia protes-protes gitu.. temen-temen gue jadi protes juga soalnya kan orang sukanya ama Dong Fang Xiang bukannya sama Yuan Da Ying, tapi dia heboh sendiri. pas lagi jaman-jamannya twilight saga juga, pas kita semua suka sama Edward Cullen dia sendiri malah ngefans sama jacob sampe bilang ' kalo Jacob bahagia baru aku tenang..'
jadi trus temen gue yang lain bilang, 'kamu pernah pengalaman jadi orang ketiga, ya?' hha... dasar, dasar..

yahh, jadi kangen lagi gue..

setelah temen-temen gue masuk kelas lagi, gue baru tahu kalo ternyata pengumuman un itu baru jam 3, abis intensif selese.. jadi gue ngegaring lagi sambil baca komik. untungnyaaa... gue dipinjemin komik banyaaakkk... banget!

kemudian, dateng deh jam 3-nya.. alhamdulillah.. gue dan temen-temen gue lulus.

Abis itu gue dan temen-temen gue disuruh nunggu surat buat orang tua gitulah, pengumuman resmi yang ada nilai-nilainya.. jadi gue ngobrol lagi sama temen-temen gue trus cerita film korea lagi, hha! bisa-bisa gue gak boleh dateng lagi nihh, dikirain ngeracunin orang-orang dengan cerita-cerita korea!

Temen-temen gue yang nge-camp super intensif pada mandi deh selama gue cerita, abis itu tiba-tiba aja kita disuruh solat maghrib berjamaah, yahh.. betapa cepatnya waktu berlalu.. sebenernya gue pengen nginep sihh di sekolah, cuman udah malem dan baju gue ditinggal, jadi gue harus pulang.. dan selama gue belom pulang, kayaknya semua orang ngomong gini sama gue:

'Fitri.. pulang sana!' 'Fitri, kok masih di sini?' 'Loh, kok ngambil makanan? Emangnya udah bayar?'

aaarghh.. heran dehh, gue kan tamu jauh, emangnya nggak pada kangen ya, sama gue? hhe! becanda deh, semua orang juga becanda kook.. trus sekarang gue jadi kangeeennn!

yahh.. setelah dibagiin suratnya trus emang kita makan malem sihh, pake ayam kecap dan sayur sop dan kerupuk juga. abis itu baru gue pulang... senangnyaa ketemu lagi sama teman-teman gue yang ramai-ramai ituu.. tapi sedih juga, sihh.. the graduation thing is closer and closer everyday, it feels like we will going to be officially separated, eventhough i know that we'll meet again often since it's not a difficult thing to make 26 people gathering in a reunion, hhe.. but high school time is THE BEST!!
